Mind over matter

Its a combination of hard work and an amazing mind-set that separates the average, the good and the great. Here are some of my top ten thoughts and tips about the mental mind-set of successful people.

Learn from your mistake!

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results” ― Albert Einstein. Any time something goes wrong, the first time, maybe the second, look at it as a learning experience and make sure you learn from it maybe journal it or create a video to remind yourself .

Don’t waste time feeling sorry for yourself and looking at the past!

Every heard of the phrase “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving” ― Albert Einstein. Feeling sorry for yourself or letting the past define your future will stagnate your progress and create an imbalance in your life. The key is to simply keep moving forward.

Don’t be a people pleaser!

Live a life that is true to yourself. Listening and taking in everyone’s opinion can slow down your personal growth. Being self-assured about yourself is one of the most

attractive quality you can acquire and obtain as a human being (self-assured Ooze out confidence, happiness/sexiness, and love)

Staying focused!

Have a clear vision for yourself! Know what you are working towards and consistently keep track of your goals and work towards them.

Have an open mind!

Getting outside of your comfort zone can be tricky and discomforting at times and can even result to people passing you by! Embrace new opportunities that are outside your comfort zone this allows you to develop, grow and nurture your personal and interpersonal skills.

Don’t focus on things you can’t control!

If we could, everyone will have the perfect live and we would all be gods! Trying to control things in your life at all times can lead to stress and anxiety necessary. Focus on what you can change e.g. Love, Happiness, health and wealth.

Jealousy is a bad trait!

Don’t be jealous of other people’s success, instead use it at a motivation and tell yourself one day I will be as good as or even greater than this person. Focus on yourself, focus on your progress and pathway, focusing on other peoples success can slow yours down.

Don’t give up after your first attempt!

If all mothers gave up whilst giving birth from their first push the world will for sure have less human beings on the planet. For you to be truly successful at something you must break through many walls of failures, failure is a true test for you to show how badly you want to achieve your goals and vision.” I’d rather attempt to do something great and fail than to attempt to do nothing and succeed” ― Robert H. Schuller

You are your true self when you are by yourself! So spend time by yourself!
Spend quality time by yourself, self-reflecting and meditating/praying. Solitude helps one to understand themselves, question their reality, imagination, increase productivity, creative and generate ingenious ideas. “If you’re lonely when you’re alone, you’re in bad company.” ― Jean-Paul Sartre

Greatness takes time!

Water your plants every day and see it grow with you. Never expect to go from zero to hero in a short space of time.Building anything great takes time, effort and focus. Look at your long term goals, desire and aims. Measure your progress and look at the bigger picture and take small steps everyday moving towards them.
